Fun, short with little elevation of about 950. Very close to the house, head south on race street until you see the Olympic national park visitor center on your right.

This family friendly hike is fully paved and is ADA friendly. Right on the water at beautiful Lake Crescent it offers views unlike anything else. It’s definitely worth a trip. Other hikes to checkout include Marymere Falls, Stormking, and pyramid peak. Lots of lake acces to the public on the ranger station side.

Other hikes to checkout include Marymere Falls, Stormking, and pyramid peak. Lots of lake acces to the public on the ranger station side.
The blackball ferry line offers a trip to beautiful Victoria, British Columbia Canada. There is lots of sights and places to see, it’s hard to see it all in one weekend, but definitely worth it! Make sure you look online for departure times as they change per season.

The drive to the top is about 17 miles and offers some of the best views of the Olympic Mountains as well as some fun hikes and wildlife. Pets are not allowed in the park. If you love hiking and are into a intense one that offers one of the best views in the area, I highly recommend the Klahane Ridge trail, don’t forget to stretch and bring water!

This out and back switch back trail is one of the most intense hikes that has a surreal view of Lake Crescent. It is a 3.8 mile round trip with 1700’ of elevation gain. There is a rope section towards the top to consider. Definitely worth it. Don’t forget water and your camera!

Fun place that is very close to town for some great sight seeing of both Port Angeles and Victoria, Canada. Lots of beach combing on either side of the peninsula that is very peaceful. Awesome spot to check out!

Walking distance to downtown
Safeway grocery is 6 blocks west of the house. Hospital is 4 blocks north of the home. Post office is 3 blocks from the house NW. There is a kid friendly park with tennis courts and a skate park a block to the east of the house as well as a YMCA at the end of the block.

There is a general store called Swains on the north side of the tree park out in front of the house, that provides everything from fishing/hunting licenses to hiking, clothing, gardening, household items and home maintenance supplies.
