Slieve League is a mountain located on the wild Atlantic coast of county Donegal. At 596 metres it’s the second-highest cliffs in Ireland and some of the highest in Europe.
Leave your car in the car park and walk to the cliffs to enjoy a spectacular majestic view. Open all year round.

Just a short walk/drive from the property you will find Fintown Railway. It is the only operational railway in county Donegal. It’s set amidst spectacular scenery with a playground beside the ticket office.

Just a short walk/drive from the property you will find Fintown Railway. It is the only operational railway in county Donegal. It’s set amidst spectacular scenery with a playground beside the ticket office.
A lovely peaceful walk for all the family. The start has a fantastic fairy trail with a story of the troll to bring that extra bit of magic for the children. There is a red loop walk or a green loop walk to choose from.
Entrance is directly across from Lidl car park in Dungloe. A 20 minute drive from the property.

The River Walk

Stretching over a mile of golden white sand this beach is backed by low dunes. It is a Blue Flag beach and perfect for a family day out. It’s a 28 minute drive from the property.

Killahoey Beach is a Blue flag beach on the northern coast of county Donegal. Great for a day out as it is beside Dunfanaghy which is a small town on the west side of Sheephaven Bay. It has numerous pubs and restaurants. It’s 51km (48min) from the property.

Killahoey Beach is a Blue flag beach on the northern coast of county Donegal. Great for a day out as it is beside Dunfanaghy which is a small town on the west side of Sheephaven Bay. It has numerous pubs and restaurants. It’s 51km (48min) from the property.

Run by Chad and Kathleen they open Tuesday through to Sunday. Just a short picturesque stroll from the property. A must do during your stay
