A Tucson classic since 1922, El Charro is famous for many dishes including the chimichanga, which legend has it, was invented in the El Charro kitchen. El Charro also serves great margaritas and has a lovely ambience. Be sure to make a reservation.

Hike or enjoy a picnic at this scenic recreation area, where you can see plenty of saguaros, wildlife, and even a waterfall. A day pass is $8 and if you want to take the tram it's $12 for adults, $7 for children 3-12, and free for infants.
