Sightseeing
Take a self guided tour of beautiful Boldt Castle and its gorgeous yacht house. Pack a picnic to eat on the Castle grounds or grab a snack at the snack bar. Wear good walking shoes and plan at least a few hours here. See the short film and feel free to tour the castle top to bottom!
We recommend the Yacht house on a separate day as it too takes quite a while to see.

Just a short 15 minute car ride up highway 12, this museum is well worth the visit. You can take a river ride in an antique wooden boat, stop by the restoration shop where they restore antique boats and view the historic racing boats on display.

750 Mary StEven if you think you are not an antique boat fan, you must see the fabulous boats at the antique boat museum in Clayton. Just a short 15 minute car ride up highway 12, this museum is well worth the visit. You can take a river ride in an antique wooden boat, stop by the restoration shop where they restore antique boats and view the historic racing boats on display.
A 40 minute ride on highway 12 is the Cape Vincent lighthouse. Poke around the old lighthouse and imagine living on the desolate, windswept point in the 1900s.
Afterward, stop in the local coffee roaster for a pastry and cup of coffee and browse the shops.
