Lies slightly out of the city buzz and is a quiet and peaceful area for relaxation and recharging of your vital energy. There are a number of nice restaurants around (see recommendations in the guide). The best and closest Malindi beach is 5 minutes walking distance. There area is nested with a number of hotels and resorts and the beach access to them is open. There is a marina with watersport activities just next to the Saint Raphael hotel. The closest supermarket is situated right across the road from Amara Hotel, which is about 10 minutes walk from the flat. The bus stop is right out on the road. Bus 30 can take you to the city and back. The old settlement of Amathus is not far, which is a historical archeological site. Make sure to have an evening walk on the beachside path that goes along the coast line towards the city.
