Saint Michael’s Shrine, at 113 Hope St. in Tarpon Springs, Florida, is a place where faithful have reported miracles taking place for decades now. It was built more than 80 years ago to fulfill the promise an ill 11-year-old boy made to the Archangel Michael after the Saint saved his life, according to his sister Goldie Parr. To this day, people visit the shrine to pray and light a candle, and there are testimonies of true miracles which have happened there.

Bring or rent a bike and explore the Pinellas Trail. With nearly 30 miles of track, this unique trial is a great way to explore all of Pinellas County and get in some great exercise. Locals love biking down to Dunedin for the day, but you can take the trail all the way to St Petersburg and explore there as well

This is where they throw the cross on the 6th of January (Epiphany Celebration). It is a favorite year round destination for walks, picnics and relaxation. There is a library, tennis courts and wall as well as a boat ramp. Manatees visit much of the year and dolphins come in to feed as well. There are many activities throughout the year but none bigger than the annual Arts Festival.

A few blocks off the beaten path but worth the walk. The food is amazing. I haven't had anything bad there ever. They also have karaoke nights, trivia and live music. It simply a fun place to eat great food, wind down and enjoy some local flavor
