The Hawk beach is located on the southern most tip of Nova Scotia and is one of the best bird watching areas in the province. At low tide you can explore a 1500 year old drowned forest and from the beach you can view the Cape Sable lighthouse, the tallest in Nova Scotia.

Hawk Beach

North East Point Beach is located on Cape Sable Island, just one of five beautiful beaches. At this beach you can swim, fish, or just relax and take in the beauty of the area. Remnants of the old ferry wharf can still be seen. There are bathrooms and free wifi available.

Another white sand beach, Stoney Island Beach is great for long strolls, frolicking in the water or enjoying a picnic. Lifeguard usually available in summer months.

This Beach is minutes from my Cottage and has change rooms, washrooms and picnic area to enjoy. You can walk from the Hawk beach to Daniels Head beach. Kilometers of some of the most breathtaking sunkissed beaches you will ever walk.

Clark's Harbour is a small town two minutes from our cottage. You will find a small grocery / pizza shop/ NSLC outlet. Visit the government wharf and walk the board walk along the shore to the main activity area including Ball field and playground along with our town library. Also while in town don't miss the Heritage Centre to learn about our fishing industry and the famous Cape Island boats.
