From Scalegate Suite, lake Ullswater can be accessed by foot to Pooley Bridge, a 6km walk or 15/20 minute drive.

Glenridding situated at the Southern end of the lake is popular with tourists of all kinds especially walkers who can scale one of the well known mountains ‘Helvellyn’.
