fun swimming hole not far from house- across state line in Bergton VA- take right off 259 and then go a few miles and you will it off to the left. I think there are small signs for it

About 30 minutes from the house- you will pass a small town called Fulk's Run- there is a cute country store called Turner's Hams- they are famous for those. Broadway has small boutiques and a Ben Franklin store. There is a small italian restaurant called Francesco's and a Subway.

Saturday Farmer's Market (not during winter)
Great farmers market on Saturdays from 10-5pm- local produce, food, coffee, drinks. Not open off season. Check the FB page.

Water at House-New Reverse Osmosis Filter at Kitchen Sink
The well water has a sulfur smell. The water has been tested and its safe to drink but we did install a large reverse osmosis filter system at the kitchen sink - faucet to the right so you can get filtered water easily for drinking/cooking. For the other faucets the more you run the hot water the sulfur smell should reduce.
