Just over 30 minutes to Stark Caverns from our Airbnb. I suggest taking Hwy 5 to Camdenton and then Hwy 54 to the cavern. Using Hwy 54 to get to the other side of the lake only adds a few minutes to your travel time. We prefer that route over the winding roads that usually offer a shorter travel time. We feel our safety is well worth the extra time.

125 Cave DrJust over 30 minutes to Stark Caverns from our Airbnb. I suggest taking Hwy 5 to Camdenton and then Hwy 54 to the cavern. Using Hwy 54 to get to the other side of the lake only adds a few minutes to your travel time. We prefer that route over the winding roads that usually offer a shorter travel time. We feel our safety is well worth the extra time.
You will want to be sure to schedule an hour during your stay at Lake of the Ozarks to visit this spectacular place. Peaceful drive or walk through the wooded area would be a great way to begin or end your day. Great gift shop too. Weekend Masses. Just 15 minutes from our Airbnb.

If you are a first time visitor to the area you will want to be sure to visit Willmore Lodge. They can assist with you sightseeing planning. Learn about the history of how the Lake of the Ozarks began with the building of Bagnell Dam. I call this a must see.
