Sightseeing
Catch the ferry over to Ocracoke and enjoy the day on the historical, quaint island community of Ocracoke Island, formerly home to one of the fiercest pirates ever to command the high seas! Experience the Outer Banks Scenic Byway as you make the 3hr journey across the Pamlico Sound and arrive at Ocracoke Island. Great time, memorable experience. Haven't been in years but I heard it's still a great experience.

Best place to eat in the area. Don't let the size of this restaurant fool you. Friendly people, reasonable prices, DELICIOUS FOOD! I get the soft crab burger, life changing.... I have had nothing on the menu that was disappointing. Call ahead if you're in a hurry, definitely check the hours before you commit... they are closed Mondays

101 Core Sound Loop RdBest place to eat in the area. Don't let the size of this restaurant fool you. Friendly people, reasonable prices, DELICIOUS FOOD! I get the soft crab burger, life changing....
