Wonderful day out especially if you want to buy local linen, the town boasts lots of linen shops and outlets, as well as a large square with a beautiful church, lots of restaurants in town or along the promenade. Nice harbour front, and the ferry across to Spain.

A short walk from Cabanas into Conceicao and you will find the railway station which can take you further East to Vila Real, or west towards Faro and beyond.
