The historic Turner Bend Store is located 1/2 mile south of the property. You can ride your ATV’s out of the property to the store to fuel up. Make sure to try one of their famous sandwiches while you’re there. They sell beer and wine (except on Sundays) They rent canoes and kayaks and they have a shuttle service to take you to your drop off point.

Oark General Store is the oldest, continuing business in Arkansas since 1890. They are famous for their burgers and pies. It is a beautiful, scenic drive along the Mulberry River. Keep an eye out for the eagles along the river during the fall and winter.

Catalpa Cafe is a small cafe on the outskirts of the national forest with good ole country vibes. Randy is the owner and the only employee and everything is made from scratch. Be patient if he is packed, it’s definitely worth the wait. You may want to call to make sure he’s open 479-292-3292. If he doesn’t answer, leave a message and he will most likely pick up the phone if he’s open. Beautiful scenery driving up Hwy 215 on the way to Catalpa Cafe.

Mill Creek Trail leads the rider through remote areas of the Ozark National Forest and features spectacular mountainous terrain, scenic views, lush upland hardwood forests, unique rock outcrops and clear mountain streams. The main trail and inside loops are connected to accommodate riders who want to vary the length of their trips.
