I typically don't order seafood so far inland, but this place does a great job. Fried whole belly clams are about as good as any I've had in the great clam shacks by the sea, and a very generous lobster mac and cheese.

Hands down the best food in the area. Upscale casual dining with talk of a Michelin star. Chef owner Jeff Fournier has won many awards and Manager owner Kate Fournier could be the friendliest most charming restaurateur I've ever met. Arguably the most competent restaurant staff in the area.

Neighborhoods
A quaint Main St type of town, it is the bustle of the Mt Washington Valley with lots of small shops, restaurants, and the scenic railway. South of the main village is the rt 16 outlet center (essentially a giant strip mall) with pretty much every shop you can think of.

No public transportation, but there is Fast Taxi.
Familiarize your self with Intervale Crossroad to get in and out of North Conway on busy weekends (the way the locals do it, don't tell them I told you.)
