Various things to do throughout the year, plus the campus is just nice to walk or drive around. Sports games, Cinema, Live Theatre, and Concerts are all things worth checking in to.

Our local zoo is in Lufkin, but it is only about a 25 minute drive. The Ellen Trout Zoo is fun for the whole family, and is almost entirely shaded. For a smaller-town zoo, it is very well done, and we hold season passes because we enjoy it so much. You can pack a lunch and eat at one of the many picnic spots overlooking an animal exhibit.

Ellen Trout Zoo

This is the closest playground to the condo. Fairly new, it has lots of fun things for kids of all ages, and there are trails, picnic areas, and a dog park as well.

Fun park by SFA that has recently been renovated to include new playground equipment and a splash pad (when in season). Also has trails and a large pavilion.

Located in central downtown, this is a great stopping point for any info you want to know about Nac! The downtown area has lots of fun shops and restaurants, brick streets, and a fun atmosphere.
