George is a mere 25kms from Sedgefield. The Airport is easily accessible from the N2. Lovely shopping malls provide all the essentials you possibly can not find in Sedgefield. The historical Train Museum is a must.

A hike to the waterfall and then a quiet picnic next to the stream is a must The hike is only 3.2kms round trip & is so pretty. A place that has been unspoilt by man. In the 18th century gold was found & there was a mad rush to find more deposits. There are still caves where miners went in along the route.
