This is THE Surf spot in Aguadilla. the beach and local restaurants are also good. You can rent stuff there or get surf lessons.
There is a current but it pulls counter clockwise helping surfers back around to the break. And some reef there - but casual swimmers have plenty of shallow sandy water to splash around with the kids.

Eclipse is inside Villa Montana Beach Resort - you don't need a reservation or a stay booked to go to this amazing restaurant.
Pro tip - bring your swim stuff and enjoy an afternoon on the beach beforehand with drinks delivered to the beach before you have an amazing dinner at sunset.
