Dongara - Port Denison, lovely country Town with 200yr old Moreton Bay Fig trees, with the Irwin River in between the two Towns, & meets the Ocean with beautiful swimming beaches & surfing spots. A major Cray fishing area and top fishing. You can drive onto our South Beach and Mr Whippy (Ice-cream Van) also can be spotted on weekends. Have a Picnic under the trees at the Marina or enjoy a meal at our Local Restaurants.

Only 1/2hr drive north from Getaway Beach, is the Greenough Hamlet and Museums. The first settlers to WA built this Town and historic building.

In Winter the Wild Flowers are abundant in our area, and a wonderful drive to the Coalseam Park is a great area to visit. There a walks amongst the wildflowers and Picnic areas. Native Birds are abundant in this area.
