Using SEPTA - Passes, Cards, Routes Nearby
SEPTA is the best, budget-friendly was to get around the city (other than biking.)
Short stays: you can pay $2.50 in CASH for a single ride on any bus, trolley, subway line, OR use a credit card at any subway station along Broad Street (closest is called Tasker-Morris Station) to buy a "Quick Trip" at the kiosk. You can't get on a bus with a credit card. Closest bus route is the 45, there's a stop around the corner from our home on 11th & McKean - across from Big Charlie's Saloon.
