After living here a few years, I am picky about where I go to eat. Here are some of my faves:
1.5 miles away, I love this place and it's comfy decor, for either breakfast or lunch. Great choices of American recipes, yet very reasonable.

Kunya Siam Thai Restaurant

A landmark destination restaurant. It's a tradition...Right on the water, one feels as if they are inside of a great big ship...( actually I think it is!) and there is a mini museum inside with great old photos and oceanic Brik-a-brac. Oh and the food...usually excellent! Great service too. Not cheap, but great.

Bahrs Landing Famous Seafood Restaurant & Marina

Oh and the food...usually excellent! Great service too. Not cheap, but great.
What can I say? We love Thai food. This one is a little further away, but if Kyung Siam is booked full we go here. Great food and service.

Jersey Shore Coffee Roasters

The Flaky Tart
145 First AveOne of the best bakeries around. Also serve salads and quiche lunches.
Gaslight
33 First AveI don't know, 30 craft beers or something. Bar food is quite good also.
They give tours of the Brewery on Sundays, I believe. The beer tastes surprisingly great, I must say.
