REALLY local places to dine and sip
Matt Murphy's - lively vibe, good beer/food, a neighborhood favorite, cash only though. Tell "Snowy" that you are staying with me! (7 minute walk from my house)
My favorite restaurant in BV is Pon Thai Bistro. Let me know if you like thai food and if so, I'll tell you more. I'm good friends with the owner and you'll get great service and even better, fresh food . (6 min walk)
Ellis Room (part of the Magnolia Smokehouse) has live music in a speak-easy type setting. Food is so-so but cocktails are divine. (6-1/2 min walk)
