This is my favorite restaurant in San Pedro! Excellent Italian food presented by the family. The food is seriously the best I have found in California with all things homemade (the tomato sauces are amazing!). High quality, fresh ingredients boom with flavor! The atmosphere is very lively and fun; the family is all engaged in the business and love the business.
It can be busy from 6-8pm, especially on weekends do best to call ahead for a reservation (same day, ok) but easy to get a table early, or later on the dinner hours.
Complimentary bruschetta on arrival. Huge portions and very reasonable prices, go hungry or share (or take home for the next day)

A must-see destination. It's touristy but a great destination for an hour.... or more, if you are into naval history. The docents are all retired navy, and passionate about the topic and the ship!

Its very possible to see all sorts of marine life from that location. I have seen whales, dolphin, and even a pod of Orca! Orca seem to come around in Dec/Jan timeframe.
