The Forgotten Florida 100,50, 15, & 8 mile run
This is an annual event, that happens in the month of February.
They have multiple runs.
100 mile, 50 mile, 15 mile, and 8 mile run, through several forest trails, that are sections of the Florida National Scenic Trail.
It takes you through the Little Big Econ State Forest, Charles Bronson State Forest, Seminole Ranch, Tosohatchee Management Area, and more.
It is a really well organized event.
I have had several guests that have participated in this event.
To see many birds, to be surrounded by their environment, alligators, hike a palm forest, learn about water recycling, experience an inlightened feeling of the bird environment, as you shed the many layers of stress.
It's such a peaceful feeling.
A great place to create some plein-air paintings.

Hiking, Horseback riding Trails, Lake, about a 1,000 acres, a section of the Florida National Scenic Trail, almost 2,000 miles, from the Florida Panhandle to the Bald Cypress lake South of Miami, has a variety of ecosystems, wildflowers, habitat, sights, sounds and aromas, such as the Vanilla plant, (red violet flowers, on top, but it's the Leaf, that smells so good, and the smell gets stronger, the older it gets.
You will see Deer Moss, which live for hundreds of years.
Many other plant life to experience.
And it's ONLY 3.5 MILES from
Clear Landing.

It's off of 426 on bar street, bar street trailhead. This is the most beautiful views along the river, and if you want to go mountain biking the best trailhead is jones on snow hill.
If you have a kayak or canoe this is a nice quiet lake/place with white sandy beach to have some romantic time.
