World wild traveled Stuart is specialized in curries, dim sum and papaya salad which he mainly prepares with herbs and chilis that he grows in the surrounding gardens. You will enjoy both the food and the coziness of this place decorated with simple but lovely taste. And if you are lucky, Stuart might have the time to share with you some of the many stories he has about the island.

Ask anyone on the island where you can find Utila's best food and they'll tell you RJ's without hesitation. While that may be due more to the local taste for barbecue diner than anything else, this friendly place does excellent pork and seafood dishes, all accompanied by a sea of trimmings. Be aware that you are ordering a menu which already includes two small starters; therefore we recommend that only big appetites order a starter. Or you could share one between friends!

Small cantina nested in the heart of Captain’s Morgan Dive Center, the friendly staff provides you with some cheap and cheerful dishes. Check their whiteboard sign on the street for daily specials, particularly on the week-end as it serves one of the best seafood soup on the island. Great bbqs on Fridays and beer pong tournament.
