“Mt. Tabor Park has nice walking trails, and a great view of the city. Famous because of its reservoirs, Mt. Tabor draws people in every weather to walk the loop around the top, meander through forest trails, or visit the dog off-leash area. This is also a favorite spot to watch the 4th of July fireworks blossoming over downtown, and of course hosts the infamous adult soap box derby. The park has a lovely playground for families, and a large covered picnic area, so it is accessible and enjoyable any time of the year.”

公園
“Go out the front door and head south past the Steel Bridge to enjoy jogging, walking, biking, skateboarding, fountain play, lunching, basketball, fireworks viewing, Segwaying, boat watching, sunrises and sunsets. Due to its recreational use, lunch hours are peak-use hours for the waterfront park. In addition to recreational use, the park is also highly used by bike and pedestrian commuters during rush hours because the park is easily accessible to the downtown Portland workforce and provides a pleasant, off street thoroughfare away from vehicular traffic. It is currently home to the Waterfront Blues Festival, Oregon Brewers Festival, Gay/Lesbian Pride Festival and the Bite of Oregon.”

“The first thing you'll notice outside of the residence is the ornately postured, St. Johns Bridge. Under it, Cathedral Park, with bouncing hills of grass, summery sunshine or softly lit winter winds that dance through the seemingly endless pillars and walls of St. Johns Bridge. Steps downhill you'll be looking onto the Willamette River. This park is incredible for one of a kind photos, picnics and brisk strolls in the afternoon.”

“See the city from the beautiful waterfront areas of the Willamette River. Head East down burnside, and you will eventually get to the river and Waterfront park. Follow riverside walking paths and some of our easy-to-cross bridges, like Hawthorne, Burnside, Steel, and Tillikum bridges to get to the East side paths. You can walk varies routes as a loop, but wear good shoes, it can be a long walk from end to end.”
