“ Camden Town is famed for its market, a warren of fashion and curiosities by the Regent’s Canal. A haven of counterculture, the area is popular with tourists, teenagers and punks. The thriving nightlife scene includes live music in alternative clubs and old-school pubs, and major stars playing at the Jazz Cafe and the Roundhouse. Cafes bustle during the day. Nearby, Regent’s Park has formal gardens and the London Zoo. ”

“It's well worth the trip across the river to Greenwich. This stunning World Heritage site is home to the Meridian Line, the Cutty Sark, the Royal Observatory, the National Maritime Museum, the Old Royal Naval College including the fabulous Painted Hall. There are some great river-side pubs, or you can dive into the craft stalls in the wonderful Greenwich Market and soak up the atmosphere and take your pick from one of the plethora of food stalls. It's a brilliant day out although you'll need to return again if you're to take everything in!”

“Kings Cross Light Tunnel - Heals of London is a furniture shop along Tottenham Court Road. Towards the back of the store is this staircase which is one of the prettiest interior photo spots in London. I believe people often go into the store just to take pictures of this staircase. Wong Kar Wai would appreciate it :)”

“Notting Hill is an affluent district of West London, England, in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. Notting Hill is known for being a cosmopolitan and multicultural neighbourhood, hosting the annual Notting Hill Carnival and Portobello Road Market. From around 1870, Notting Hill had an association with artists. For much of the 20th century, the large houses were subdivided into multi-occupancy rentals. Caribbean immigrants were drawn to the area in the 1950s, partly because of the cheap rents, but were exploited by slum landlords like Peter Rachman and also became the target of white Teddy Boys in the 1958 Notting Hill race riots. Then known for its slum housing, in the early 21st century, after decades of gentrification, Notting Hill has a reputation as an affluent and fashionable area, known for attractive terraces of large Victorian townhouses and high-end shopping and restaurants (particularly around Westbourne Grove and Clarendon Cross). ”

“Islington is one of London’s trendiest, most eclectic neighbourhoods, boasting a rich history and a strong sense of community. The area's posh-meets-street vibe is a magnet for creative types: locals have included George Orwell, Lily Allen and what seems like half the cast of popular soap EastEnders.”
