We live on a little homestead in our hometown of Savannah, Georgia. You can get to know us a little more through our homestead adventures, documented on our blog and podcast, The Homestead Kings.
We are a University of Georgia alumni who fell in love with Athens so much that we couldn't leave for good. Right after we got married, we saved up and bought an apartment in the same exact apartment complex we had both lived in throughout our college years. That's how much we loved the area! It's within walking distance to nearly everything but especially to downtown and the stadium and nestled nicely in its own little area with fabulous walking trails close by. We love frequenting Athens and taking in its eclectic energy.
Our coastal waterfront cottage is in Southeast Georgia near Darien, Georgia, and has expansive views and natural serenity abound. This cottage has been in our family since the 1960s, but its recent overhaul has made it ready to share with others seeking true peace and relaxation surrounded by nature. We call it our Digital Detox, the place we go when we desire to escape it all and unwind. Watching the sunset drop below the miles marsh grasses is one of our absolute favorite things to do in the world.
We love to share our homes away from home with people we know will love them as much as we do! Our hope is that our guests enjoy our apartment and waterfront cottage and the cities of Athens and Darien as much as we do. They're such unique towns with so much to offer for all ages.
