My husband of 31 years, Darrin, and our 2 adult children used to reside in Phoenix, AZ where it is very hot in the summer. We wanted a place in the cool pines to escape to in the summer. We also wanted to enjoy an occasional trip to the snow in the winter. We love Rim Country (Payson, Pine & Strawberry) and all the experiences that come with it. We also want to share these experiences with others by sharing our cabin. Recently we relocated to Payson, AZ to enjoy the cooler temps year round. One of the best decisions we've ever made!
In Strawberry & Pine we have enjoyed hiking, visiting the lavendar farm, Antique shopping, and the Tonto Natural Bridge which is only 5 miles away. Fossil Creek is also a popular hiking spot (currently closed due to fire in 2021). In Pine, we enjoy eating pizza at Old County Inn, having a nice lunch at The Randall House, stopping for honey & jam at The Honey Stand and shopping at Fancy Finds to name a few of the great things available in the area. If needed, Payson is only 18 miles down the hill.
