Our home is set in a small vineyard of old shiraz vines from which we make wine. Mintaro is a historic heritage town with great walks and a top historic pub walking distance away.
Ensuite to air conditioned queen bedroom is provided. TV, DVD in room and access to
Foxtel on request.
Other bedrooms to sleep 3 or 4 are also available for families or small groups. Equipped with overhead fans and heating.
Cooked breakfast is included.

Lovely room, v comfortable bed, great shower, quiet environment, welcoming hosts sensitive to your privacy needs. A 2nd bedroom with queen and single available if you have others travelling with you. A 3rd bedroom is available with single bed in study on request. Secure parking.

Part/shared air conditioned lounge, dining and kitchen available. BBQ & pizza oven. Foxtel and TV/DVD. Off street parking available.
We provide tea varieties, espresso coffee, fresh bread, cereals, and cooked breakfast. The local historic pub, newly renovated, serves great meals just 5 mins walk away. Guests are welcome to share evening meal with us for extra $25 per person or $30 with wine, please request before 3pm.

Everyone is friendly and happy for visitors to join in social activities ie pub on Friday Night. Two wineries in town. Reillys Restaurant for daytime meals and coffee. The historic Magpie and Stump pub has been renovated and serves local beers and meals. Splinters and Steel gift shop is unique. Look up Mintaro on web.
Top restaurant with food that is a mix of colour, taste and texture is Terroir in Auburn. Dan Moss, innovative chef and owner of Terroir restaurant in Auburn, is one of five finalists in the ‘appetite for excellence' Australian Young Restaurateur 2015 awards, and the only finalist from South Australia.
Slate restaurant at Pike's Winery is a must for lunch. Look up their web page.
Seed Winehouse and Kitchen in Clare is a must for dining. Tapas and slow cooked lamb a specialty.
Paulett Wines' Bush Devine Cafe is great place for lunches overlooking the Polish River Valley.

Christine and I are an easy going couple who are well travelled and enjoy entertaining and meeting new people of all nationalities. We enjoy making wine, gardening and watching good TV shows such as Outlander and House of Cards. Lawn bowls is our sport of choice for fun and exercise. When you stay with us you join our family for a short time. We adapt to suit our guests and can share or be separate as you prefer.
