Tucked away in Globe Cove, the last of the Sardine Shacks that housed the workers of Globe Canning waits for you. Views of the islands, views of the colorful working waterfront, an outdoor dining area, easy access to the shore to launch your own watercraft, close to West Quoddy and the Cobscook Shores trail system! Consider this a step back in time, a sort of hard shell Glamping experience! The Shack is rustic, similar to what we call camps in Maine. A place to rest your head, essential cooking and bathroom faciliites, but a view to die for.

Private setting next to a working waterfront. Adjacent to thickly forested 10 acres of various private owners. Within walking distance of several well identified public trails. Mixed residential neighborhood - along North Lubec Road, where impressive summer places and well kept working class homes sit next to some that are rougher around the edges ...very coastal Maine-ish.

I live with my two kids in Hope, Maine. I am currently self employed, but have done a variety of things in my life: marine engineer, manager of a frame building shop, legal assistant, manager of a law office, and facility manager for a YMCA campus. I am a bit of a sports nut and love watching just about anything when it's time to relax. I love fitness when it occurs outdoors- swimming in the lakes nearby in the summer, or in the winter, skiing downhill at the Camden Snowbowl or cross country on my property in Hope. Will even go running on occasion, but only when no one is looking. We are all readers and there are lots of books at our place. We also love to travel and have been to lots of places together. Our favorites: Paris, Washington, Belize, and Andulucia province in Spain.
