I grew up on my family's small farm in Oregon's Willamette Valley.
After some time traveling, bussing tables, bartending, chasing horses and waves and finishing a BS in cultural anthropology, I became a wife and a mother. That huge life switch brought me into this line of work- creating sweet home-away-from-home spots in gorgeous nooks throughout the world. My current goals as homestay host are to help foster enriching cultural exchanges between travelers and locals and provide home-like spaces for rest and rejuvenation.
I've also just bought my first property, which allows me to play with the landscape- I'm planting diverse vegetation in order to combat climate change, and make spaces where humans can comfortably enjoy the outdoors and feel more inspired about their place in the plant/animal life continuum!
