Our house is situated on a quiet street and is comfortable, relaxed and informal. Our one guest bedroom offers a peaceful refuge of calm for single guests or couples visiting Eastport. We are a professional but easy-going, friendly couple and will do our utmost to make your stay as pleasant and enjoyable as possible. Although we are always on hand to be of service, we try to stay out of your way. If you're social, we are friendly. If you prefer privacy, you'll be left alone. Whatever you wish, the choice is yours! We love animals but have a cat who roams the house but is never allowed in the guest room. For this reason we cannot accommodate other pets but will warmly welcome service animals.

We are situated a block and a half from the bay, on a quiet, secluded street, very close to downtown but away from the noise, traffic and summer crowds. Eastport offers plenty of things to do year-round but is especially vibrant in the summer. Downtown Eastport is charming and offers several bars, restaurants, shops, galleries, the Tides Museum and a library. Summer activities include a busy July 4th with a parade, a visit from a US Naval vessel at the port and spectacular fireworks over the bay. Labor Day brings the annual Salmon & Seafood Festival, and a week later Eastport is beseiged by Pirates causing havoc around the city (not really!) who then invade Lubec by sea in our immensely popular annual Pirate Festival. One of the most-loved events of the Eastport Calendar occurs at New Year's when we celebrate twice. At 11pm we drop the Maple leaf and at midnight, the sardine, in the same way as they do on Times Square, followed by spectacular fireworks over the bay! Whatever the time of year, there's always something going on in our delightfully quirky city.
