*LAW OFFICE HAS APPTS 2-3 TIMES PER WEEK.
*NOISE CONSTRUCTION ON A NEW BUILDING BEHIND APARTMENT (usually between 7am and 5pm daily)

This a renovated historic building in the center of Old Fairhaven.
Originally built in 1909, the building used to be part of the history of Old Fairhaven Prostitution and Bootlegging. In it's heyday, it was called "Anne's Palace" and owned by a madam named Anne Bronson.

This apartment is small and perfect for two adult people, one or two children. It starts getting cramped with more than three adults. Keep that in mind.

**There is construction going on behind the building as a condo is going up, usually between 6:30am-5pm on the weekdays.

**Children: while we are Family Friendly, be aware there are 15 stairs leading up to the apartment without a barrier at the top. Parents must watch their small crawlers.

**Please let the host know if you will be needing the sofa bed.

**There is construction going on behind the building, usually only weekdays. Begins around 6:30AM and ending at 5PM.
WE ARE SORRY BUT HOST HAS NO CONTROL OVER NOISE FROM THE CONSTRUCTION SITE.

Guests will have access to the entire upstairs which has a long staircase (15 stairs)
*Please note that there is NO elevator; you will need to be able to climb stairs to reach this apartment.

The upstairs has a fully functioning kitchen (including pans, dishes, cloths, dishwasher, food prep items), bathroom, and small living area (TV, pull-out sofa bed).
*There is NO CABLE (live TV stations) but there is a Netflix guest account.


**THIS IS A CONTACTLESS CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT. CODED KEYPADS ARE USED.
There are no keys to this apartment; access doors (there are two) have secure keypads. The day of check in, guests will be sent, via airbnb email and/or texted to a phone, a key code to the keypads. Each guest receives their own personal key code. This system keeps the apartment secure and safe as well as our guests.

The host is completely accessible by email, text, or phone at all times.

Guests park at the back of the gravel driveway along the side of the building. There is also parking across the street from the building. The parking with pad and handicap ramp access is for clients of the law firm.

There is one real queen-sized bed in the bedroom and a pullout, full-sized sofa bed (with an extra mattress topper stored in the closet) in the living room for another guest(s).

*The apartment is on the second floor; about 15 stairs up with NO elevator.
*You must be able to climb stairs (see picture in the listing).

**There is absolutely NO smoking of any kind (vape, pot, etc.) in this apartment.
**There is absolutely NO burning of candles or incense in this apartment. This includes the upper deck. Please respect the safety of our clients and our home.

**There is no negotiation on check in time or check out time.
Check in is 3PM and check out is 11AM. Please adhere to these times.

This home is in walking distance to urban trails, the Bellingham Amtrak Station, Community Boating Shed (for kayak and paddle board rentals), and all the Old Fairhaven downtown shops and restaurants.

There is a law office directly below this apartment and usually two days during the week and one day on the weekend, there will be an attorney who will meet with clients during the day. The apartment is completely separate from the law office with an employee/client entrance.

The apartment is fitted with key code access; no keys. The code will be given the day of check in as each guest receives their own code.

All renters are welcome; please be respectful of our property and the surrounding area.
