TANGO apartment built in a Swiss chalet style, has lovely sea views, a fully equipped kitchenette, bathroom, bedroom and outside sitting. Nice and quiet and only minutes away from the beach and restaurants, National Park and all the activities there.
We are operational all season, so everything is switched on and hot water etc. is not an issue at all. You will find your password for Wifi in the folder on the table in your studio. Please have a look at the glow worms along the banks

The TANGO sea view apartment is a lovely Swiss Chalet type of building. Free standing, very private. Its equipped with everything to make your stay with us a comfortable one. Hairdryer, quality European bedding, nice towels etc. We are very keen on recycling, so please either leave your recycling by the rubbish bin and the compost and food scraps (they go to the happy chickens next door) in the composting bin provided. Or you can us the recycling stations next to the office and by the laundry. Thanks for that.

The restaurants, the water taxi and kayaking companies as well as the beaches and National Park are in walking distance.
We can help you with your bookings. The catamaran sailing charters pick up from here and sky diving, too. Horse trekking is in the village. So lots and lots to do and experience.
Wifi is available and free, there is a guest laundry with washing machine and dryer.

Its just a short walk to the beach for a swim or for a little stroll. The restaurants are in walking distance, too, as well as the National Park.
Many of our guests stay an extra day, to visit Golden Bay and come back in the evening. It is only an hour to Takaka, and everyone has to return nearly to Marahau for their onward journey.

We, the Mueller Family warmly welcome you to the BUENA VISTA APARTMENTS. We are happy to be able to share this piece of paradise with you. Originally from Germany, we fell in love with this place, while on holiday in New Zealand, immigrated here 25 years ago. We bought our 16 hectares of land here in the Marahau Valley, which was at that time far more off the beaten track, than it is today. Our piece of land was accessible by a gravel road and had only a small cottage on the property, that became our family home. Over the years we have seen Marahau gradually develop to become a favourite tourist destination in New Zealand. Our home has also developed and grown with the house being extended and the landscape slowly being cultivated with trees, orchard and gardens.
