Close enough to hustle and bustle of Plettenberg Bay, yet secluded on banks of Keurbooms River when you want peace and tranquillity, this Villa offers the best of both worlds. It is a haven for children to run around, cycle and skateboard and enjoy fishing and activities in the shallow river, meeting new friends as they have fun. Doors are never locked and bicycles are left in front of the house with the best treats on offer.

Access to river and boating activities with a launching area and moorings available. The Estate is surrounded by the wine farms of the Plett wine Route as well as many award winning restaurants, bistros and eateries. Thyme and Again farm Stall famous for for its pies and pastries is a short walk or cycle away. Surrounded by Blue Flag beaches of both Plettenberg Bay and Keurbooms, each day offers a new adventure. Nearby Knysna Forest offers mountain bike and hiking trails with dozens of tourist activities including Game Farms, Elephant Sanctuaries etc etc in the surrounding areas.

Water in included in the tariff. However, electricity is pre-paid and bought on site at the office. There will be electricity when you arrive, but guests may need to top up during their stay.

This Villa is our happy place and is our family holiday home. Although all 4 children are grown up with 2 of them married and 2 granddaughters added to the family, we all see this as out ultimate holiday destination for pure R&R. There is so much to do in the most beautiful natural environment that it slowly reenergises

With our 4 children grown up, graduated - some married - and independent, my husband Mark are now retired and ready to have fun travelling the globe. Our first year of retirement saw us doing a 3 week roadtrip through the Western Cape with our family of 13 in April, 2 weeks on safari in SA, a 6 week trip through Italy in July/August, a week long safari in September and 10 days on a yacht in Seychelles before spending 2 months at out holiday house on the river in Plettenberg Bay. We are looking forward to discovering new adventures around the world where we love meeting the locals and living their lifestyles and enjoying their cultures and food

We will not be present during the guests stay as the whole house is available for their use and enjoyment. We do however, have a caretaker on site in the Village who will meet and greet and be available to sort out any problems that may occur during their stay.
