Bow-Allum Place (Apt #2) sleeps up to 10 people comfortably. Perched high on the hill of Eurong Second Valley you will be greeted with peaceful bushland surrounds, wildlife, sea breezes & close proximity to the beach & shops of Eurong. Eurong Second Valley has dingo deterrent fences & grids surrounding its perimeter for that added safety with the kids. Bow-Allum is the perfect central base for all your favourite Island adventures.

Located in Eurong Second Valley on the beautiful world heritage-listed Fraser Island now known as K’gari. Eurong Second Valley is a peaceful bushland locality on the Eastern side of the Island approximately 20km inland from Kingfisher Bay Resort or 35km from Hook Point where the Inskip barge docks. Due to the lack of sealed roads on Fraser, a 4WD with high clearance is a must!

With only a 300m walk from Bow-Allum Place you will be standing on Seventy-Five Mile beach, why not take a stroll and enjoy the rugged beauty of the Island or flick a line & catch dinner for the night. Alternatively, also within a 300m walking distance you have Eurong Shops, Bakery, Restaurant or visit the resort bar for a sneaky cocktail at sunset.

Bow-Allum Place consists of two tri-level apartments and can cater to 10 people per unit, THIS BOOKING IS FOR APT #2 ONLY.

Why not book both apartments and have large groups of up to 20 people comfortably (booking in advance is essential to secure both apartments simultaneously)

Bedroom 1 – Queen Bed with Ceiling Fan
Bedroom 2 – Double Bed with Ceiling Fan
Bedroom 3 – 2 x Triple bunks (Double on bottom & single on top – sleeps 6) with wall Fan

1 Bathroom/Laundry – Includes a washing machine, laundry sink, shower & small bath for children. All water is heated by gas.

Separate toilet

Spacious Living & Dining area with satellite TV and books/board games.

Kitchen – Fully self contained kitchen including gas stove top & oven, large electric fridge/freezer & stove top kettle.

All windows and doors are screened for added comfort.

Outdoor gas BBQ (gas bottle supplied) & clothesline

Front verandah – which has outdoor seating and a gated option, as you may encounter a visit from a local Goanna simply looking to scavenge through your bin. It is highly recommended that you please do not feed ANY of the local wildlife, this is for the safety of the animals and our guests (& to help prevent our railings being chewed from the beautiful but destructive Sulphur Crested Cockatoos).

Due to the remote location of Bow-Allum there are no mains electrical supply and we rely on the eco- friendly way of living. Our apartments are run by a solar powered system which relies on sunshine for recharging, please help us by embracing your eco holiday experience by following the guidelines. Using appliances that contain a heating element or draw continuous power are strictly prohibited. These include but are not limited to hairdryers, straighteners, portable fridges, rice cookers, toasters, coffee machines, kettles etc.

Phone & laptop chargers are permitted but it is advised that these are turned off and unplugged when not in use along with all lights & fans, especially on those overcast days as we don’t want to overload the system.
Washing machine and vacuums are best used on sunny days to ensure the recharge of the batteries.

Apartments are on a septic system which includes toilet, kitchen sink and shower. Be mindful of placing any foreign objects down the toilet or cooking oils down the sink, No dettol/bleach/antibacterial/disinfectant products are to be used. As this will kill off our soldiers (bacteria) who do all the hard work of breaking down the septic waste.

BEDDING
YOU MUST SUPPLY your own sheets, pillowcases, towels and bath mats.

WE DO PROVIDE – tea towels, mattress protectors, pillows, pillow protectors & extra blankets.

Bow-Allum is an older style property and shows sign of wear and tear. Please be mindful that you are surrounded by bushland on a remote Island.
