Relax and enjoy all the amazing things Boise has to offer from your room on this urban farm. Located in the North West side of town near 36th and State, the house is a five minute drive from downtown, and is located just minutes from the Boise River.

お部屋
Enjoy a slice of "country in the city" in this master bedroom in a comfortable house on a one acre urban farm. Guest access includes: wireless internet, shared bathroom with bath/shower, living room, well equipped kitchen and an acre backyard with a basketball court and plenty of places to relax and enjoy the "country in the city" experience. The Collister neighborhood of Boise is amazing. We are minutes from everything: the Boise foothills, the Boise River, as well as being a ten minute drive to downtown. If you need to grab some food, there is an Albertsons nearby, as well as Starbucks, and there are a good restaurants close by as well. The neighborhood was created by the breakup of an old pear farm, so most of the houses sit on an acre of land. The neighbors are hardworking Idaho types who love to be outside. This spot would be best for someone who has their own transportation, be it car or bike. Please no smokers or heavy drinkers/drug users.

ゲストの立ち入り範囲
You're welcome to enjoy the living room, backyard, kitchen, the front yard and the basketball court. You may use the washer and dryer, please bring your own laundry detergent. The firepit is strictly off access.

その他の特記事項
Check in/out:
Check in is anytime after 3 pm and checkout is by 11 am. Use the key code to enter the main house.
When you checkout, please remove bed linens and place them and your used towels in the laundry basket in your room. Please remove all items from your shelf in the fridge.
If you are using the Upcycled or Yoga Room, please leave the key on the dresser. If you accidentally leave with the key, please contact me and we ask that you send it back to me in Santa Fe or Boise.
Kitchen:
There is a coffee maker, and coffee and filters are provided in the cupboard to the left of the sink. The other shelves in the refrigerator and the cupboards are marked for the room you booked, please be respectful of other guest’s food. The sink is opposite from what the color dots show: red is cold and blue is hot. Please wash your dishes after you cook and wipe down the counters if necessary so that the kitchen is always clean for the next person who cooks.

Trash: Plastic trash bags are under the sink, and the grey trash can gets put out on Thursday evening for early Friday morning pick up.

Recycling: Boise recently moved to the Hefty bag program, please follow the guidelines posted on the two recycling cans for proper recycling. The blue recycling can gets put out Thursdays evenings of every other week, the schedule can be found in the drawer to the right of the sink. Rancho Agua Feliz is on the orange weeks.

Boise composts! Please follow the guidelines on the outside of the two bins provided underneath the sink for composting.

Fridge use: When Annie and kiddos are here, we will use the main fridge in the kitchen, and guests in the Upcycled Room and Yoga Room have their own mini-fridges. I’ve provided bags to make it easier to bring your food to/from the kitchen. Otherwise, the master bedroom guest will have the main kitchen fridge, and you can also co-ordinate amongst yourselves if guests in the Upcycled or Yoga Rooms need extra fridge space.

Bathrooms: Shampoo, conditioner, and toilet paper are provided and stocked by my cleaning helper. If you are here longer than a week and run out, we expect that you’ll resupply with your own t.p. and paper towels. Towels are provided in your room, please do not leave them on the floor of the bathroom or your room, there are hangers in both places. The Upcycled Room and the Yoga Room share the blue bathroom, and the master bedroom has its own private bathroom. Especially for longer term guests, please be considerate and keep the shared bathroom clean. A scrub brush is provided, and paper towels and cleaning spray are in the kitchen and under the sink.

Parking: Please park in the driveway or on the street. Please be respectful of other guests and allow room for 2 cars to park in the driveway. When Annie and kiddos are here, their van takes up a lot of room, so we ask that you please park on the street in front of the house. Thanks!

Lights: Please be mindful of our neighbors and turn off all outside lights by 10pm. If you come home after 10pm, expect to use your phone to guide you up the walkway. Please note that the light to turn off the front porch is on the right of the front entranceway (with a compass switch plate.)

Quiet hours: This is a residential neighborhood, and we’ve been exceedingly lucky that the neighbors haven’t minded me using my house in partnership with AirBnB. We respect the quiet nature of the neighborhood by observing quiet hours from 10pm to 7am. In the summer, especially around solstice, we may go a half an hour on either side of these hours, but in general we keep a mellow environment.

Cleaning: Please keep the common areas that you use (kitchen, bathroom, living room) clean and free of personal items. Please wash your own dishes and use the drying pads to the left of the sink, or you may run the dishwasher if you have a full load, just please remember to unload it as well. My cleaning helper, Marina, will clean your room after your stay, and you may run into her when she is here to clean another room. She is a native Spanish speaker, but understands a lot of English as well. If you would like to arrange an extra cleaning during your stay, please let me know and I will see if I can arrange it. Marina also helps out with the outside work and she likes to get an early start to beat the heat, so don’t be surprised if she’s outside working around 7am.

Thank you very much for your booking, we hope you enjoy your time here and that it’s a peaceful place to stay during your travels!

I began hosting in 2011 in a house that I own in Guadalajara, Mexico. Since then, I've had the pleasure to host in both Boise, Idaho and Santa Fe, New Mexico. During the summer months, my two kids and I live in Boise, Idaho, and during the school year, we live in a tiny haus studio that is part of a Spanish modern Bauhaus located in gorgeous Santa Fe, New Mexico. Besides my children, my main loves are rivers, mountains, food, and going on outdoor adventures, so most times that I'm a guest it will be to use your place as a base camp for some kind of adventure. I love to cook, so I'll be grateful and appreciative of your space to help me eat well while on the road. As a host, I love interacting with dynamic people who have an interesting story to share. I lived in Mexico for five years, and have travelled in Latin America and Europe. One of my favorite things about traveling, be it in the U.S. or outside of the country, is the exposure to different stories and cultures. In our Santa Fe listing, we will be off on an adventure while you rent out our glass tiny haus. Obviously, with little ones, my house is geared towards the fun and safety of their childhood, so no smokers or heavy drinkers/drug users, please. We love meeting new folks, so we'll be excited to check out your profile and have you as a guest at either our Boise or Santa Fe listings. Welcome! Aqui tambien se habla español! Bienvenidos!

We live in Santa Fe, New Mexico from mid-August to mid-May, and Boise, ID through the summer. When I am in Santa Fe, you will be sharing the house with other AirBnB guests, and during the summer I am in the house with my two children, Elena and Joaquín. We are an active, outdoorsy family, and when I’m not working, we’re often in the mountains or on the river. If we’re out of service, we may not be able to reply to questions immediately. In case of a house emergency (other than what would necessitate a call to 911) please contact my neighbor Bob, he lives across the street at 3007 N. Tamarack. He is a very helpful retiree.
