Cabo Pulmo is a small, secluded village located in a National Marine Park. The park, with its coral reef, has been closed to fishing for over 12 years and has experienced a phenomenal come-back of fish. It is a "seeding ground" for all of the Sea of Cortez. If you prefer just to snorkel, there is a great place for that about a 10 minute drive from town. There are also miles of hiking trails in the desert hills above Cabo Pulmo.

We love Baja California, and especially Cabo Pulmo, because it's quiet, relaxing, and way off the beaten path. The water is warm, the surf is excellent, scuba diving is extraordinary, the food is outstanding, and the people are friendly. This little casita is on a larger property that is our dream house, our someday retirement house. We both work in agriculture. Scott is manager of a vegetable seed production company and I do organic inspections. We live in Chile at the moment, but are looking forward to coming back to Baja. We have a wonderful couple, Karl and Kimmie, who will welcome you to the casita and make sure you have everything you need and all your questions are answered. And don't worry if you don't speak Spanish...they are from the US and speak perfect English!
