Wandering Trout is a Craft Brewery in picturesque Mole Creek.
Enjoy Tasmania's best craft booze & food experiences then rest up in simple comfort, right up-stairs from the TAPHOUSE!
Our Beers are brewed off grid from Mole Creek Rain & the Finest Ingredients. The TAPHOUSE kitchen offers house made, locally sourced, internationally inspired cuisine with a rolling menu focused on freshness & variety.

ALL OUR PRODUCTS ARE SMALL BATCH & TASSIE MADE!

The Dixon's Kingdom room over looks our garden with sunny north facing views out to Mersey Hill. There are 2 X single over double bed bunks in the room & a private bathroom as an ensuite.
As with all our rooms, the beds are cosy & crisp.

We have set up Dixon's Kingdom for last minute stop overs or as the perfect place to rally your group before or after that memorable Walk into Walls of Jerusalem or Tasmania's Wilderness areas.

Listing price is for 3 people and you can accommodate up to 6 people. We charge $30 for each extra person after the first 3.

A light breakfast is included in our base price. MESSAGE US to enquire about our Deluxe local produce breakfast upgrade or Breakfast To Go packs.

Guests have free Wifi, access to shared lounge with movie screen/chromecast, tea & coffee facilities and garden surrounds.

Mole Creek is a Rural Community with a history of farming & forestry & over 100 years of Tourism.

Stunning views of the Great Western Tiers are a feature of the area, as are many great outdoor activities such as caving, bushwalking & world renown trout angling.

Watching the light change over the Tiers can be mesmerising late in the afternoon. Sunrises and sunsets can be truly spectacular and if you get your timing right, the Aurora Australis can be viewed over the tiers at night.

Wandering Trout is a Craft Brewery with a Taphouse & Eatery in Mole Creek, Tasmania. Upstairs from the Taphouse, we offer accommodation in simple, comfortable, Country Lodge style rooms.

We offer simple comfort and quality, with an experience that is unique in our region. You can stay, drink & eat with all our booze & food made either in house or by small craft producers in Tasmania. Our beers are made just up the road on our 190 acre off grid property, where Justin & Suzie live with their two dogs and a bunch of sheep, goats, chooks & ducks... not to mention a wide variety of native wild life, both common and rare!

As guests, Suzie & Justin are both into outdoor activities such as fishing & bush walking. We are respectful of our hosts' property and space, friendly and either open for a chat or happy to leave you be. We have been hosting AirBnB guests since 2015 and will treat your space and your privacy with the same respect we hope to get from our own guests.
