... The Apartment is part of the Center for Human Science, which consists of seven air-conditioned houses on its own 2-acre campus in the heart of Chapel Hill. Run by a charity chartered in 1981 to promote interdisciplinary communication in the behavioral and social sciences (it conducted the famous Nags Head oceanfront conferences for 25 years), the Center provides short- and long-term accommodations to graduate students, faculty, and members of the general public interested in understanding the world we live in. It also sponsors lectures and seminars.

Bibb first moved to Chapel Hill as a high school student when his parents came here for graduate school, and after going out of town for college, graduate school, and teaching jobs at several other universities, is back in the same house he grew up in. Looking forward to meeting you during your stay!
