Spectacularly situated on a peninsula overlooking Fishers Island Sound with a Tri-State view, Salt Acres Villa is surrounded by its 600 feet of curving sandy beaches with more than 8 acres and a 450-foot breakwater pier with dock. Breathtaking water views from every room stretch in all directions, taking in Watch Hill, eastern Long Island, Fishers Island and Stonington Village, minutes away by foot.

A 30′ by 60′ salt water pool, secret garden and tennis court complete the array of amenities along with hot tub, sandy beaches, breakwater pier and dock. This is a rare opportunity to enjoy the Village of Stonington, on the water, while so close in proximity to Mystic, Watch Hill and in between Boston and New York. The area is full of celebrities staying close by.

This extremely private 8.68 acre waterfront estate offers the impression of being on an island yet located just steps from the Villages restaurants and shops, with nearly 4 of these acres held in conservation for the Osprey. It offers nearly 2,000 feet of pristine coast line, 400 feet of private sandy beach, a 450-foot private breakwater jetty/pier and dock. The Estate is also celebrating its 150 birthday this year in addition to an extensive 2 year renovation.

We have two different houses on the property to rent. Main house with 6 bedrooms and 9 bathrooms & The guest house with 3 bedrooms and 3 Bathrooms.

The main house offers 10,000 square feet, with 6 bedrooms, 7 full bathrooms, 2 half baths and 5 gas fireplaces on remote; providing un-obstructed water views from almost every room, along with a 30’ by 60’ salt water pool, heated spa, private jetty and dock, 55’ x110’ tennis court, 7 +person Theatre room, 2,000+ bottle wine cellar, gently sloping manicured grounds and a private garden. You can snorkel of the sandy beach and 400 feet private stone jetty. Or kayak to famous Sandy Point Island, a natural bird preserve, which is a 5 minute paddle, or paddle to the area where Peter Benchly lived and was inspired by the beach community to write Jaws.

Each bedroom has its own bathroom, there is a second summer kitchen that has just been completed in addition to work out area with sauna, ecliptic machine and weights. By July, the downstairs bathroom will be completed for a total of 8 full bathrooms. The house offers all modern features such as air conditioning, geothermal, electric blinds, automated backup generator, new windows and insulation.

The 2,000 square feet guest house has 3 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms and a gas fireplace in addition to the living room, kitchen and dining area.

There is an additional fee of $300 per person per night for every extra guest after 8.

This advert is just for the main house (6 BR) where we will lock the guest house (3 BR) during your stay and you will still have access to the entire property and its amenities.

The guest house is a 3 bedroom 3 Bathroom also available for rent but only with the main house and not separately. Please inquire in case you need to rent both the houses.

Our competition lists properties that are for sale and therefore cannot guarantee that you will get the property you selected. Or worse, they may opt out of delivering the property you had hoped for entirely. We speak to individuals quite often that call in desperation as they struggle with an inferior replacement property or no property at all. We are in this for the long term and could not afford to conduct business in this way. We have been in business for 10+ years and plan to be for many more. We have also been a valued member of the Santa Barbara Chamber of Commerce since our inception where you will find us on their website. We strive to maintain our Santa Barbara Vacation Rentals. Santa Barbara condos and Montecito vacation rentals up to the highest standards in terms of quality, amenities and ensuring that our properties are fully equipped with everything you would need while on vacation. There are many fly-by-night operators who are desperate to either sell their property or optimize rents by listing their property as a vacation rental.
