This is the closest property possible to the base of Dollar mountain; this unit offers immediate access to winter skiing. Dollar mountain is home to a world class ski/snowboard terrain park and the Sun Valley Snowsports school where my son, grandson and I teach skiing. Dollar Mountain is considered the best teaching mountain in the world. Whether you want to enroll your kids in an all day ski school while you shred Baldy or you want to improve your technique on gentle terrain; this is a perfectly located condo. Walk over to the ski school in minutes and avoid the hassle that comes with loading everyone into the car.
The upper level is a large, open great room. The kitchen is fully equipped with a cozy nook by the window for chatting while you cook, or read in the sun. The dining area has seating for six and the breakfast bar has room for five more. The living area is comfortably furnished with a wood burning fireplace and a flat-screen TV.
The bedrooms are on the lower level; the master suite has a king bed, a private bath, and a large flat-screen TV. The guest room has a queen bed; there is a full bathroom in the hallway. The loft provides additional sleeping with two queen and one single beds. All of the beds have recently been replaced.
The condo includes 2 TVs, stereo, wireless internet access, washer/dryer. A Pool, Hot Tub, Ping Pong Table and BBQ are available for your use at the clubhouse. To help maintain this property, smoking or pets are not allowed.
Nestled in the hills overlooking Sun Valley, this condo is perfectly situated to experience the regions countless outdoor activities.
Hot tub and pool are located onsite in the complex. This condo is less than a minutes walk to the club house where the pool and hot tub are located, but is far enough away that you aren`t disturbed by noise.
The kitchen has all the appliances and cookware you`ll need to put together your favorite meals.
Sun Valley is home to more than 400 miles of hiking trails, 30 miles of paved bike paths, and some of the most celebrated downhill skiing in the world. Sun Valley is also the perfect destination for those looking for a more low-key retreat. Unwind with a massage or body treatment at the Sun Valley Lodge Spa. Fly fish Trail Creek, BigWood River or the world famous Silver Creek Preserve.
Finally snuggle up together on a sleigh ride to Trail Creek Cabin or treat yourself to a delicious meal at one of Sun Valley/Ketchum`s 30 plus restaurants.

Check-In Information
Check in time is 4:00pm. For a $50 fee often times you may be able to arrive earlier. Please contact us 48 hours before your arrival if you need to check in before 4:00PM. There is no guarantee, however we will do what we can to accommodate you.
Check-out Information
Check-out time is 10:00am. If you would like to stay and play at an additional charge, please call to request arrangements the day before your departure. I can not guarantee late departures so please call to request .
Don`t overfill trash bin located next to the front door. Make sure cover completely closes. When full, please deposit trash bag into the container located at the front entrance of the complex.

The condo is located next to the Dollar Mountain Lifts and only blocks from the 48 mile paved walk/bike/nordic ski path system which runs through Ketchum, Sun Valley, Elkhorn and follows the Big Wood River north and south of town providing easy access to back country areas.
The area offers outdoor activities for all seasons with some of the best skiing, snowboarding, hiking, fishing, golf, biking and paragliding in North America. Other activities in the region include rafting and kayaking on the Salmon River, Heli-skiing, snowmobiling and winter sleigh rides

I moved to Sun Valley/Ketchum to finish remodeling a home I bought on the Big Wood River. My plan was to then sell this home and move on to where there were more career opportunities. Forty years later I'm still here and now claim to be retired. I guess retirement for my age group is not having a mortgage and the kids are out of school. Except now the kids are moving back after finding this is the best place in the world to live. As a family we are alpine ski instructors, manage our own vacation rentals as well as others and love sharing the beauty of our valley with our guest. When you're passionate about where you live; good things happen. Michael
