Resort is located on Roaring Fork Road in Gatlinburg, TN. Roaring Fork stream, which is with stocked rainbow trout, runs adjacent to the resort. The resort also adjoins the Mountain Smokey National Park, at the end of the Motor Nature Trail. You can walk directly into the National Park from the resort.

The Resort is beautifully situated among the trees with the Roaring Fork Stream rushing by, and you can fish for trout from the Resort property.

There are 3 outdoor pools and1 new heated Indoor pool. Hottubs are found at each pool. The Resort has an exercise room, a racquetball court, a basketball court, shuffleboard and putting green with an Activies Center for various crafts, pool table, occasional entertainment by local artists. Clothes Washers and Dryers are available on property.

The Smokey Mtn National Park has many walking trails and waterfalls to enjoy. Groceries, Restaurants and an abundance of local Artisans nearby. Pigeon Forge and Sevierville with all of the kids themed attractions, Dollywood and many restaurants and Outlet malls for shopping. Ober Gatlinburg is accessed by tram up the mountain to winter sports, skiing, sledding and an ice skating ring. A snowblowing machine keeps winter sports going when mother nature doesn't cooperate. The longest suspension bridge for pedestrians in the Appalachians opened within the last few years.

Treetops Resort is located on Roaring Fork Road where the Smokey Mountain MotorNature Trail ends.

Guests can walk into the Smokey Mountain National Park from the Resort.

Free Trolleys are available at many locations through Gatlinburg and run to Pigeon Forge also. The most convenient Trolley stop is in my opinion is on Route 321 at a Supermarket about 2 miles away from the Resort. Drive your car to the Supermarket, park and catch the Trolley... plus you can grab some groceries at the store when you pick up your car and head back to the Resort.

My family and I have walked down Roaring Fork Road about a 1/2 mile or less, and catching theTrolley to downtown Gatlinburg . The harder part after you catch the Trolley back up to the Resort, is the uphill walk back up Roaring Fork Road. Good exercise but not for everyone.

To enjoy all the National
Park has to offer, and enjoy the shops and attractions in Gatlinburg and the nearby Pigeon Forge, you will want to have a car.

The Resort has a Check In office with friendly staff to assist you, and an onsite security person is available for late check in or other needs after the office close at other times during the year. I prefer to rent on a Weekly basis. Check In Day for all Loft units is Friday. There are the following weeks listed, please check availability on the Calendar:

See my other Airbnb listings for the TREETOPS RESORTS main area! Lots of Peak Summer and October weeks to rent. Those 2 Bedroom units, have a Queen Bedroom, 2Twin Beds and a Queen Size Sleeper sofa and 2 bathrooms. Living,Dining,Balconies, Full Kitchen, etc.

If my Loft units are all booked up for the weeks you want, please check the availability of the other two 2 Bedroom units in the main Resort area "Treetops....." Saturday Check In Day, and "Treetops ..... Sunday Check In
