Nihilani townhome description
Aloha and welcome to our condo in paradise. Our North Shore condo is located in Nihilani complex, one of the newest developments in Princeville with world-class amenities. Attractive Tropical Hawaiian landscaped grounds are very well maintained. Community area includes fabulous pool with waterfall, pool side cabana along with semi private spa area and Barbecue island in Hawaiian garden settings. Condo Complex won coveted 2014 Tripadvisor Certificate of Excellence.

Our family spends 2-3 months a year at condo with our kids and it was furnished such keeping convenience and comfort of family in mind. Our condo has bi-level floor plan, which is most desired plan in all of Nihilani. There is no one above or below you, which is very convenient with kids and provides that much extra privacy. There is a distant ocean view from the master bedroom lanai and a peek of the mountains view from the other bedroom lanai. The condo is not on the busy Ka Haku road. The condo is close enough to the pool (less than a minute walk) and amenities but far enough to be tranquil. Our condo is centrally air-conditioned* (please check air-conditioning use policy).

Please note our price includes 14.96% tax that needs to be paid to State of Hawaii when running a vacation rental. Please note we only take payments via airbnb and under no circumstance we will ask for payment outside of AirBnb. AC charges are collected post trip and are based on actual electricity usage and not to exceed 30$/day.

* 3 flat screen LCD smart TV’s with standard cable service (1 in living room, 1 in master and 1 in queen bedroom).

* 2 Blu-Ray DVD players (1 in master and 1 in living room).

* Xbox 360 with Kinect and family games in living room.

* 2 car garage with clothesline, 4 beach chairs,1 Beach umbrella, 2 rain umbrellas,2 boogie boards, 4 Snorkeling sets, 2 adult bikes, 1 child bob stroller etc.


Occupancy:

Sleeps maximum 6 adults and two kids under age 16.


Our main floor has open room concept with living/dining/kitchen with solid granite island ideal for family gatherings. Main floor has exotic Tiger Bamboo flooring all over, which is easy to maintain, and creates a warm cozy environment.

The living room has 48” flat panel Smart digital TV with cable service along with Xbox 360 Kinect and Sony 3D Blu-Ray DVD player. Xbox games can be rented from nearest Redbox booth at Foodland groceries. Living room coffee table has storage place for Xbox controllers and board games for kids (Jenga, Connect 4, Monopoly, Uno etc.).

The kitchen is all granite countertop with all the amenities of home (Glass top electric range, GE Adora French door refrigerator, dishwasher, built-in microwave, Keurig pod coffee maker etc.). The Kitchen is stocked with plenty of cooking utensils, rice cooker, toaster, and blender etc. along with dinnerware/silverware sets for casual and formal dinning. The dining room has a full Dining table that seats 6 adults very comfortably.

From the wrap around Lanai on main floor you can enjoy sounds from nearby Wyndham artificial waterfalls along with colorful birds that visit trees and shrubs year around. Lanai has 4 piece dining set along with barstools.

Going up from the main level all of the upper level is soft carpet for comfort and noise isolation. The upper level has a master bedroom with King bed and attached lanai. There is a second bedroom with 1 queen bed and attached lanai, and a third bedroom with 1 queen bed. The closet in the third bedroom has Graco Pack ’n Play travel play yard and a key/electronic safe. There is a den with lounger that converts to full size bed. All bedrooms including the den have a super quiet tropical ceiling fan that are controlled by switches. All beds are freshly made for each guest and we have extra sheets, pillows and accessories in the closets for each bedroom. Upper level includes a laundry room with washer and dryer and iron/iron-board.

The master bedroom is equipped with 46” HDTV flat screen with digital cable and a 3D blue ray player connected to the network ideal for streaming netflix/hulu/amazon videos. The master bedroom also has a retreat corner furnished with an ergonomic chair and contemporary work desk which is comfortable to get some writing/reading/computer/art/work done. There is an attached master bath with a bathtub, full standup shower and twin vanity. Attached to master bedroom is lanai with very comfortable wicker patio furniture set with a small cocktail table. There is a peek of ocean blue far away and soothing sounds from Wyndham artificial waterfalls along with bird chirps make it a very relaxing space.


Electronic locks protect the house and codes on them are changed after each guest checks out while providing the convenience of not carrying a key everywhere. We have fire extinguishers in the lanai, and kitchen. The house has smoke detectors on upper level and is centrally air-conditioned.

We have a two car attached garage for guests so your car(s) can be parked away from the sun and rain. The garage also has 4 Tommy Bahamas beach chairs, beach umbrella, sand toys, 2 boogie boards and 5 sets of snorkeling gear with fins. We have 4 bikes (2 adults and 2 kids) for your use along with bike locks. For your safety wear helmets while riding. Guests will need to bring their own helmets or rent them. Also available is a Bob Stroller for little ones. There is a hose right outside of the garage for washing sand and dirt off.

In summary our town home with 1,874 square feet of living area and 300 square feet of lanai space includes 4 bedrooms (1 King, 2 Queen, 1 den) 2 ½ baths and all the necessary amenities such as washer and dryer, wireless high-speed internet, free long distance telephone service to the US and Canada, TV and DVD player, family games, Xbox 360 with Kinect and two car garage stocked with bikes and beach gear.

We have installed ceiling fans in the den, living room and each bedroom and take advantage of Kauai’s wonderful trade winds that keep the condo at a very comfortable temperature. In event guests need to avail use of A/C there is an extra charge up to $30/day to use A/C (The maximum cost to use AC will not exceed 30$/day.If actual electric cost is less than 30$ we charge actual usage and collect it end of stay). Please note the lowest temperature that can be set when using A/C is 74 degrees.

Owners have travelled all around the world to many a beautiful destinations but Garden paradise is the one that stole our heart and we chose to buy our second home here. We live in beautiful Colorado among majestic Rocky mountains but when it comes time to relax and unwind our home in paradise is a true retreat. Our design tastes are a mix of classic and contemporary and you will find influences all over the home. We spend about 2-3 months at our house in paradise but can't be there as much as we like, so we are happy to share our place with other folks just looking to relax and enjoy and soak in the beauty of paradise.
We chose Kauai for it's beauty, waves and relaxed vibe. Kauai is beautiful all over but our heart was set on North shore because of unique climate and everything north shore offers (hiking,kayaking, snorkeling etc). Nihilani in princeville was a easy choice because it’s one of the newest condos complexes with all modern amenities and open layout with town home feeling more like a home and include a 2 car attached garage. The pool, spa and BBQ area is top notch and always kept meticulously clean. It's not a large complex, so it's often quiet and very peaceful at the pool, but also throughout the entire complex. The walking/bike paths are extensive and gorgeous throughout Princeville. You're a short walk to restaurants, golf, Queen's Bath, Hideaway's beach and surf break, and both the Westin and the St. Regis (great for a sunset cocktail). Our town home is ideally located within complex with a minute walk to pool/spa area but far enough to maintain tranquility. Due to unique location in complex our master lanai has peek of distance ocean views and we have distant views of Mountain from another lanai.
