Mesa's Edge House is a 820 sq foot house that sits on 3 private acres and is adjacent to 17 undeveloped acres. It is 1/4mi walk down the hill to downtown Hotchkiss. It was newly renovated in 2018 with new furniture/appliances in 2020. Lots of windows that all have privacy blinds. The outside has a big shaded lawn. There is fire pit seating, porch seating looking West , Mesa's Edge seating looking to The West Elk Mtns, zero gravity chairs and outdoor dining table and chairs.

After a long driveway down to the Mesa's Edge, there is parking for 2 cars under car ports and plenty of other ample parking. You enter the house from a covered porch that has seating. The entry foyer has plenty of space for belongings, a desk/chair workspace, (high speed fiber optic Internet), a bar and washer/dryer closet. The kitchen is well appointed w all that one needs for cooking. The kitchen has seating for 4. The Living Room has a Queen pull-out sofa w memory foam mattress, recliner chair, dropleaf table, smart tv, echo speaker. Both bedrooms have queen upholstered beds, 12inch memory foam mattresses with organic bamboo linens and comfortable pillows. There are views towards the West Elk Mtns from both bdrms. The bathroom has a single vanity sink with a shallow tub/shower. The outside features a fire pit w seating, a sitting area looking towards the West Elk Mnts and porch seating. The large grass yard is a shaded by 100year old Cottonwood trees, perfect for the bocce set. The coal train does pass through below the Mesa sometimes twice a day/eve and can be heard from the house.

Guests will have the entire house/property to themselves. In warmer months irrigation and yard maintenence will be looked over by someone. We can arrange times that best suit the guests. There are weeks throughout the year that I stay in the house to do maintenance and enjoy the property. The closet in Bedroom # 1 is locked with my personal belongings. Also Carport #1 is occupied with my personal belongings and sometimes a vehicle.

The properties lawn/plantings require irrigation which means a filter is to be cleaned every few days. It also needs branches picked up and lawn mowed every couple weeks. In late summer/fall there are leaves to attend to. There will be someone coming by to see these things through. Therefore, your complete privacy will be interrupted. We can try to adhere to a routine schedule that best suits you so you can plan accordingly.
City Market grocer is 1/4mi away as well as Farm Runners Market which supplies local organic food from area farms.

Mesa's Edge House is a 10 minute walk to downtown Hotchkiss. The town offers coffee shops, restaraunts, bars, Yoga Studio, Pilates Studio, Gym, Spa, grocery store, a local Farm Runners store that supplies local organic produce & meats as well as prepared food, Saturday Farm Market at The Creamery Art Center. The K-8 School is just down the hill if kiddo's need a playground. Delta County Fairgrounds is in town The agricultural neighborhood is a sweet walk or bike ride and easy access to much more biking. Pickleball too!

I am Vermonter of 47 years and moved to Hotchkiss CO in 2007. I have been exploring the West for the past 12years via foot, bicycle , 4-wheeler, horseback and camper. The adventures are endless on the Western Slope of CO.
