Our beach villa is located at the top of a sand dune, where you can walk straight out across the sand to the Atlantic Ocean. It is surrounded on two sides by the Littoral nature reserve so we have extended views over the pine trees to sneak peak glimpses of the three local land marks, the Dune du Pilat, the Phare and at the time of writing, the Ocean. As we are south west facing we have the benefit sun all day long. The hub of the village is a ten minute bike ride or short drive away.

The villa is situated high up from the road on top of a dune with beautiful views and a feeling of space and of being at one with nature. Have breakfast, lunch and supper on the terrasse overlooking the nature reserve. Take a dip in our private pool. Enjoy the sun loungers to soak up the rays at the pool or on one of the two terrasses where you can watch the sky change colour as the sun goes down, hear the sea, smell the pine trees and look up at the open sky at night to stargaze.

Guests can use all the previously mentioned spaces which include the garden, pool and the whole villa (except for the storage room, shed and locked cupboards in the laundry room).

Guests need to be aware that there are steps going up the dune to the villa (with a ramp alongside for luggage) and two flight of spiral stair cases once inside. The villa is on three levels.

Cap Ferret is situation on a peninsula with the sleepy Bay of Arcachon to the east and the Atlantic Ocean to the west.
There are art galleries, boutique stores, colourful markets, delicious restaurants, beautiful walks, boat rides to be had and many sporting activities including surfing, kitesurfing, kayaking, sailing, water skiing, cycling, tennis and more.
For the less active, there are many good restaurants. The cultivation of oysters is a long-standing tradition and there are dozens of “oyster cabanes” where you can savour them.
The market is just one of the highlights with excellent food produce, clothing and craft. Open every day in July and August and once a week the rest of the year.
The small boutiques offer clothing, craft and jewellery.

This has been our family holiday home for many years and we have very many happy memories, I hope that you will enjoy it as much as we do. We love peace, nature, being out doors and eating delicious fresh food.
