Berbiguieres is the ideal starting point for exploring the region, home to historic villages. For example, start in Saint-Cyprien (8 km). A short walk takes you past the Augustinian abbey, the old clock tower and the medieval centre. Another recommendation is Belvès (12 km), a beautiful, fortified town (bastide) with numerous monuments. Do you need to view the area from a different perspective? You can hire canoes at Siorac-en-Périgord (8 km) for a lovely trip on the Dordogne. There are water amusements in all varieties. If you would like to swim in a lake, you can go to Prats-du-Périgord (29 km) or Cazals (36 km).
