Located just off of Highway 50 in Canon City, Colorado, The Flat is on the top level of an unattached garage behind our primary residence. The apartment is 900 sq. ft. and has a private entrance. Look out the windows to the west and see a splendid view of the mountains! Our apartment has two bedrooms and a spacious living room area along with a full kitchen and a dining room nook. Take advantage of our close proximity to the Royal Gorge, Westcliffe, Colorado Springs, Salida and more!

There are several lovely walking trails close by including the river walk along the Arkansas River and Tunnel Drive on the west side of town. Historic downtown on old Main Street has some great little shops and restaurants, one of our favorites being The Bean Pedaler coffee shop. Enjoy a high-up view of the city from Skyline Drive, accessible from Hwy. 50 west of town.
We are only a few miles from the Royal Gorge Bridge and Park. In a short time you can aslo reach other wonderful towns:
-Westcliffe, 50 miles away, Colorado's first International Dark Sky Community;
-Salida, 60 miles away, an old mining town surrounded by 15 of Colorado's 14er mountains and boasting many rafting companies and all levels of river experiences
-Colorado Springs, 45 miles away, home to Garden of the Gods Park (free admission), Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, and America's mountain, Pike's Peak
