森の中の家は岩の多い丘の上にあり、ブルーリバーの渓谷の美しい景色を誇ります。 9エーカーのバージンオークとレッドウッドの木に囲まれ、両側には近隣住民が住んでいます。彼らは親切で素晴らしい人々ですが、木々や距離のために見たり聞いたりすることはできません。鹿や七面鳥、様々な鳥を見るのはよく見かけます。

I am from Independence, Missouri. I am a Christian. My fiance and I are enjoying our retirement years.

I had made a lifelong career in the horse care industry through building and managing an equestrian center. Recently, after 30 memorable years, we sold the farm. Beautiful “Misty River Equestrian Center” is still right down the road and offers horseback riding lessons.

I also love sailing and kayaking, snorkeling, and gardening.

I enjoy my large family and love to read (mostly, but not only, fiction.) I like discovering the best of the best recipes, and do believe I now have in my possession the best pancake recipe in the universe.

At one time we sailed off shore, and one aspect of that I loved was meeting and getting to know people from all over the world. I enjoy experiencing a little more of that when hosting through Airbnb .

My home is my hobby. It is a unique and lovely setting on several acres of rocks, ridges and rare virgin forests, yet is close to major interstates, shopping mall, restaurants, and many other amenities.
We are developing beautiful walking trails through the woods, and in the summer there are artsy flower and veggie gardens to check out. Guests can often experience a million dollar view from the decks, or a photo worthy sunset. If one likes a little country in the city, the House in the Woods is sure to be a good experience!
