Squirrels Leap comprises of a bright open plan kitchen, dining and living space, a bedroom and bathroom all equipped with the essentials required for a self catering stay.
There is also an outside decking area with seating to allow you to enjoy the peacefulness of your surroundings.

The kitchen is equipped with the essentials for a short stay. In the lounge you have Sky TV (limited package), wood burning stove and seating area. The bathroom in Squirrels Leap comprises of shower, sink unit and eco-toilet. In keeping with our love and respect for the environment in which we live, eco-friendly shampoo and soap is supplied.
The Lodge is set within 3 acres of garden and overlooks a large pond. We ask that you are respectful of our property and to the birds and wildlife we share it with. We have a vast array of birds which can be seen frequently, and for those lucky visitors who show patience and quiet they may be rewarded with sightings of red squirrels, Pine Martens, brown hares and badgers just to name a few!

Drumnadrochit is set on the shores of Loch Ness and at the head of Urquhart Bay, aswell as being set on the Great Glen way. It has a good selection of shops and places to eat. The village is also home to the official Loch Ness Monster Exhibition centre, so you could go Nessie hunting whilst exploring the nearby ruins of the historic Urquhart Castle. Dhivach itself has the famous Falls of Dhivach, a 100 feet waterfall, and the historic Dhivach Lodge. It is situated 3 miles from Drumnadrochit.

Squirrels Leap is situated well away from our house, but we are never too far away if needed. You can check yourself in with the lockbox. Once you have booked your stay we will send you confirmation with the passcode.
Other things to note. As you will be driving up a single track road in the dark please take it slow in order to ensure you see all the local wildlife well in advance.
